Position Description

Indwell is a Christian charity, creating affordable housing communities that support people seeking health, wellness, and belonging.

Hours of Work: Part-time; weekends, public holidays and overnights. Hours worked to be scheduled as required based on the support needs of individuals living in the residential care facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting individuals with activities of daily living.
  • Household duties: cooking and cleaning, other duties as assigned.
  • Administering medication, recording daily shift notes.
  • Maintaining a healthy and safe environment.
  • Reinforcing residents’ life skills, spirituality, and social and community skills.
  • Working as part of a team supporting individuals living in the residential care facility.


All employees should demonstrate a warm, sensitive and caring approach, flexibility, organization, initiative, and the ability to work independently. Employees must be able to maintain good interpersonal relationships and have a genuine interest in providing quality care for people living with mental illness.


Minimum High School diploma. Priority given to those with post-secondary education in the social sciences and/or residential experience; current students encouraged to apply.
