Job Information

You are to teach 60 minutes each class. Classes start at 10:00 a.m. You will teach 25 teaching hours max per week (Monday - Friday). All classes are private lessons. You will have students who range from preschool - high school and adult. At all ages, the Japanese are eager to learn English, especially from a native speaker. Our school has a structured curriculum program - teaching materials, books and curriculum. Teacher also leads English bible study in chapel times (Trinity Grace Church)

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, friendly, positive, hard-working, and patient - Team oriented and loves children!
• Believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior and have a personal relationship with Him everyday - Have a mission / discipleship mind. We are looking for Christians who belong to the Reformed or Presbyterian church. Seeking a missionary who fully affirms the Five Pints of Calvinism (TULIP).
• Hold at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. - A native speaker of English.

Salaries and Benefits

Monthly salary is￥120.000.

First one will be paid as soon as you get to Japan. School pays these expenses: apartment rent (furnished apartment in our school) / lighting, heating and water expenses / internet / air fare (￥70.000) / Day trip to Nara, Kyoto and some tourists spots.

Saturday / Sunday afternoon/ National Holiday

Paid Vacation

Spring (about a week) Christmas (about two weeks)

Contract Period

10 months (From October 1, 2025 to July 31, 2026)

A missionary will be selected from among the applicants after a screening of documents.
