Position Description

About The Organization

The mission of the Kingsview Sponsorship Program (KSP) is to share the love of Christ by serving poverty-stricken children, orphans, students, and widows in the Dominican Republic by providing the necessities of life through sponsorship and designated projects.

The vision of KSP is to see the lives of poor children, orphans, and widows transformed by the grace of God while broadening our Christ-centred model for international implementation.

Founded in 2005 by Lowell and Lois Brown, KSP works alongside 30 local churches in providing support for poor children and widows through a sponsorship program and designated projects in the  Dominican Republic. Child sponsorships give children the opportunity to attend school and church on a weekly basis and help cultivate a healthy lifestyle, ultimately breaking the cycle of poverty.  University aged students are empowered to pursue superior job opportunities, helping them meet the needs of their families and give back to their communities. Sponsorships also support widows struggling to provide for their families through gifts of food, shelter and medical supplies.  In addition to the sponsorship Program, KSP’s designated projects include an Orphanage Project, Haitian Refugee project, school missions project, and theological resource project.
