Position Description

Are you passionate in Early Childhood Education? We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) / Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) to join our team and make a lasting impact on the lives of children between the age of 18 months to 6 years and their families.

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, inquiry-based learning experiences in alignment with Montessori philosophies and the Ontario Early Years Framework.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and supports emotional, social, cognitive, and physical growth.
  • Collaborate with other educators and school staff to assess children's individual needs and development, tailoring learning experiences accordingly.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and caregivers to foster communication and engagement in their child’s education.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and school policies.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with colleagues and administration regarding student progress and classroom operations.

We’d love to talk with you if you possess:

  • Must hold a valid RECE license with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
  • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent.
  • Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)
  • Experience working with young children in a Montessori setting.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (police background check).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for fostering young learners' development.

Salary: $25-$28

Job Type: Full-time
