Position Description

As an expression of our local outreach missions, Forestview Church oversees an initiative called, Next Door Social Space (NDSS). This outreach includes two social enterprises; Rolling Horse CommunityCycle (RH) and Next Door Community Kitchen (ND). These two enterprises foster human connection, promote healthy living, and address social and spiritual challenges for those experiencing varied levels of poverty and marginalization in our community. ND serves as a community hub that provides nutritious meals and emotional and spiritual support to those facing marginalization. RH offers affordable bike repairs and sales, while also running youth engagement programs. Both programs operate under the leadership of FV and receive operational support from the church alongside a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

The SEM will be responsible for strategic leadership and management of the
social enterprises. This role requires a blend of passion for missions, entrepreneurial spirit, and a commitment to social impact.The SEM plays an essential role in pointing the social enterprises towards a vibrant faith and active trust in Jesus Christ. This leader inspires a culture where spiritual growth is a priority, ensuring that every aspect of our programming meets both our social and spiritual impact goals.
