Position Description

Leamington United Mennonite Church (LUMC) is seeking a full-time Congregational/Lead Pastor to nurture the spiritual life of its community through preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and collaborative leadership. The pastor will preach regularly, provide pastoral support during life transitions, lead services such as weddings and funerals, and guide spiritual formation through catechism, membership classes, and adult education. The role also involves supporting church renewal initiatives, coordinating with staff and leadership, and maintaining connections with Mennonite Church Canada and affiliated organizations.

Ideal candidates will have at least five years of church leadership experience, a Master’s degree in theology or divinity (preferably Anabaptist), and be credentialed or willing to become credentialed through Mennonite Church Eastern Canada. The position includes salary, pension, benefits, and additional financial supports such as housing, private education, and other areas of interest or need.
