About The Missions Hub
A centre for innovative collaboration amongst campus groups, missions agencies and churches, the Missions Hub catalyzes partnerships in missions. Our purpose is to send missionaries for the Glory of God and the world’s good.
The Missions Hub is an initiative designed to support and encourage Christian Mission in Canada and around the world. Located at Knox Church in downtown Toronto, the Missions Hub is bringing together Missionaries, Missions agencies and Churches to work together for the Kingdom. The Missions Hub has involved 30+ Missions agencies and 100’s of Missionaries and Missions supporters. By providing co-working space, and hosting events, trainings, prayer days, and meetings, the Missions Hub has given us a glimpse of what can be accomplished when we work together in God’s global Mission (missionshub.ca).
We want to build on the passionate work that is happening at the Missions Hub by focusing very intentionally on mobilization. 700,000 people live in downtown Toronto. The largest age group is between 25 – 34 years old. 58,000 students are enrolled in the University of Toronto - St. George Campus, located literally across the street from the Mission Hub. Our missions agency partners, working together through the Missions Hub, have seen the amazing Kingdom potential here. We believe that there are many campuses and churches across Canada who can benefit from this type of mobilization, focusing on discipleship and building trust throughout and between networks.
Do you have the experience, faith and gifts to make the Missions Hub a bustling center for mobilization in downtown Toronto, Canada, and the World? Does the idea of serving Jesus and working for God’s Kingdom get your passion really flowing? Can you demonstrate how you have taken an entrepreneurial approach to your Kingdom work? Are you a creative leader with a heart for raising up the next generations? If so, we would love you to apply to be the Missions Hub Mobilization Coordinator.
