Full-Time Long-Term Occasional Position: Grade 4 Homeroom Teacher
Peoples Christian Academy (PCA)
Start Date: September 1, 2025
School Year: 2025–2026

Spiritual Qualifications

Each employee at PCA must have received Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and believe that the Bible is God’s Word and the standard for faith and daily living. As a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and action, the successful candidate must:

• Be a member in good standing at a local evangelical church that affirms PCA’s
• Statement of Faith and
• Statement of Core Family Values
• Be in wholehearted agreement with PCA’s Statement of Faith and Statement of Core Family Values
• Exhibit spiritual maturity, personal integrity, and professional alignment with PCA’s mission and beliefs

Professional Qualifications & Competencies

• Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with Primary/Junior qualifications
• Prior experience in Christian schooling is an asset
• Demonstrated ability in systematic planning and assessment
• Strong capacity to connect with young children
• Flexible, service-oriented, and collaborative in spirit
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Passionate about teaching and committed to professional excellence
• Culturally proficient and inclusive in practice
