Position Description
Edvance is a dynamic, not-for-profit industry association serving the growth and flourishing of Christian schools and their leaders—principals, boards, administrative staff, and educators—in Ontario and the eastern Canadian provinces.

Office Administrator
The Office Administrator provides professional administrative support across all areas of the organization. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Operations, this role also works closely with the President, leadership team, staff, and service contractors, and regularly interacts with affiliate schools and partner organizations.
Rooted in a commitment to the growth of Christian education, the Office Administrator is organized, personable, responsive, and proactive in addressing organizational needs with care and timeliness.
Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Serving as the first point of contact for the organization via phone and email
- Scheduling in-office meetings and arranging hospitality as needed
- Administering student assessment data
- Creating, formatting, and managing surveys; compiling and reporting on results
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting statistical data; preparing reports and visuals that support decision-making
- Ensuring quality and accuracy of data in the organizational database (Salesforce.com)
- Proofreading and formatting documents, policies, and communications
- Managing special projects and organizational initiatives as assigned
- Supporting the President with executive assistant duties, including calendar management, correspondence, and preparation of presentations and other materials*
- Preparing agendas, minutes, and reports; serving as recording secretary for the Edvance Board of Directors and other meetings as needed*

Employment Standard Requirements
Skills and Experience
- Administrative experience is a plus
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail
- Data analysis skills
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; pleasant demeanor and phone manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and be self-disciplined, organized, diplomatic and discreet
- Ability to work independently and to set priorities

Note: This is a full-time, one-year term position covering a maternity leave. Our team works in a hybrid format, with three days a week in our Burlington office and two days working remotely.
